Blue Star Limited has announced its financial results for the third quarter ending December 31, 2024, reporting a strong performance driven by increased revenue and improved operational efficiencies. The company’s revenue from operations surged 25% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹2,807.36 crore in Q3 FY25, up from ₹2,241.19 crore in Q3 FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, revenue grew 23.3% from ₹2,275.96 crore in Q2 FY25. Total income, including other income of ₹8.73 crore, stood at ₹2,816.09 crore, marking a 24.9% YoY increase from ₹2,253.86 crore and an 22.7% QoQ rise from ₹2,294.47 crore.

Total expenses rose to ₹2,648.89 crore in Q3 FY25, reflecting a 25% YoY increase from ₹2,119.57 crore and a 22.5% QoQ rise from ₹2,163.08 crore. The cost of materials consumed, including direct project and service costs, increased to ₹2,083.06 crore, up from ₹1,575.49 crore in Q3 FY24 and ₹1,632.70 crore in Q2 FY25. Employee benefits expenses grew 26.4% YoY to ₹234.18 crore, while depreciation and amortization stood at ₹34.98 crore, up from ₹23.49 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Profit before tax (PBT) rose 33.2% YoY to ₹178.99 crore, compared to ₹134.39 crore in Q3 FY24. On a QoQ basis, PBT grew 36.5% from ₹131.10 crore. Net profit for Q3 FY25 surged 32% YoY to ₹132.46 crore, compared to ₹100.46 crore in the same quarter last year, while registering a 38% QoQ increase from ₹96.06 crore in Q2 FY25. The company’s tax expense for the quarter stood at ₹46.53 crore, up from ₹33.93 crore in Q3 FY24 and ₹35.04 crore in Q2 FY25.

For the nine months ended December 31, 2024, Blue Star reported total income of ₹7,999.70 crore, a 25.1% YoY growth from ₹6,392.62 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. Net profit for the nine-month period stood at ₹397.28 crore, up from ₹254.60 crore in 9MFY24, representing a 56% YoY increase.

The company’s strong Q3 performance was driven by higher revenue, effective cost management, and steady demand in its key segments. Blue Star remains optimistic about sustaining its growth momentum in the coming quarters.
