Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd (BCSSL) (BSE: 539607) has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India, for the grant of Unified License (Virtual Network Operator) – ISP Category “A” authorization for National Area Service.
According to the company’s disclosure, the authorization, once the required regulatory formalities are completed, will allow it to provide internet services across India. The LoI has been issued under the Unified License (VNO) framework and is subject to fulfilment of prescribed compliance requirements, including payment of the entry fee, submission of a bank guarantee, and execution of the license agreement.
The company stated that the authorization forms part of its strategy to build an integrated digital infrastructure platform combining AI-native data centers, sovereign cloud, and secure connectivity. Upon completion of the regulatory conditions, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions will be eligible to operate internet services at the national level under the ISP Category “A” authorization.
Vinod Babu Bollikonda, Group CEO of Blue Cloud Softech Solutions, said that receiving the LoI for national area service enables the company to offer integrated connectivity and digital infrastructure solutions across the country. He added that the company will comply with all regulatory requirements as it operationalises the services.
