India’s telecom giant Bharti Airtel has launched Airtel Secure Workforce, a fully-managed and unified Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) cybersecurity platform aimed at helping enterprises tackle rising cyber threats in the AI-driven digital landscape.

The launch comes at a time when cyberattacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated, with organisations facing growing risks from AI-powered attacks, remote working environments and cloud-based applications. Airtel said more than two million cybersecurity incidents were reported in 2025 alone, underlining the urgent need for stronger enterprise security infrastructure.

Developed by Airtel Business, the new platform is being positioned as India’s first fully-managed and compliance-ready Zero Trust security solution that offers end-to-end protection across users, devices, applications, networks and enterprise data.

Powered by Airtel’s pan-India network and supported by 24×7 expert monitoring, Airtel Secure Workforce aims to reduce the operational burden on enterprises by offering integrated cybersecurity management through a single platform. The company said the solution has been designed to deliver enterprise-grade protection while improving cost efficiency for businesses.

The platform has been built to support compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and includes features such as audit-grade logs, structured incident workflows and data movement controls to strengthen governance and monitoring capabilities.

Airtel said the solution has been specifically designed for hybrid workplaces where employees access enterprise systems remotely through multiple devices, networks and cloud applications. The company added that enterprises today are increasingly struggling with fragmented security tools, alert fatigue and shortages of skilled cybersecurity professionals.

By replacing multiple vendor-based deployments with a unified Zero Trust platform, Airtel Secure Workforce aims to improve endpoint detection and response while securing remote access across enterprise environments. The platform also offers a unified dashboard that provides organisations with a consolidated view across networks, users, endpoints and enterprise data.

In addition, the solution provides visibility into unsanctioned cloud and AI applications, helping enterprises strengthen oversight and reduce emerging cybersecurity risks linked to shadow IT and generative AI adoption.
