Navratna defence public sector undertaking Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has announced the receipt of additional orders worth Rs 610 crore since its last disclosure made on 8 January 2026, reinforcing its strong position in India’s defence electronics ecosystem.
The newly secured orders span a wide range of strategic and mission-critical segments, including advanced communication equipment, medical electronics, thermal imagers, jammers, along with spares and services. These contracts reflect BEL’s diversified product portfolio and its continued relevance across defence, homeland security, and allied domains.
The latest order inflow highlights sustained demand for indigenous defence electronics, supported by the government’s focus on self-reliance under the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives. BEL’s expertise in designing, manufacturing, and servicing complex electronic systems continues to translate into consistent business wins from defence forces and other government customers.
