Bayer CropScience Limited has announced the resignation of Mr. Simon Johannes Britsch, Whole-Time Director (Executive) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 28th February 2025. Mr. Britsch is stepping down due to his planned repatriation to Bayer AG.
In line with this transition, the company has appointed Mr. Vinit Rajesh Jindal as the new CFO and Whole-Time Director (Executive), effective 1st March 2025, based on the Nomination and Remuneration Committee’s recommendations. His appointment is subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
- Outgoing CFO: Simon Johannes Britsch (resigning effective 28th February 2025) due to relocation to Bayer AG.
- Incoming CFO: Vinit Rajesh Jindal, appointed as Whole-Time Director & CFO, effective 1st March 2025.
About Vinit Rajesh Jindal
Mr. Vinit Jindal has been associated with Bayer since 2001 and has held multiple leadership positions across finance, supply chain, and strategy. His key roles include:
- Head of Accounting – Bayer CropScience India (2005)
- Strategy Head – Bayer India (2008-2010), overseeing acquisitions & divestments
- Group CFO – Bayer Southern Africa, Managing Director & CFO – Bayer Philippines
- Current Role (prior to new appointment): Group CFO for Bayer UK & Ireland
A Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, Mr. Jindal is also an alumnus of IIM Calcutta and Mumbai University.
Other Board-Level Changes
- Dr. Miriam Holstein, Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, has also resigned, effective 28th February 2025, following her exit from Bayer AG.
- Ms. Jana Marlen Ackermann has been appointed as an Additional Director (Non-Executive Non-Independent), effective 1st March 2025.
