Aurionpro had recently informed exchanges that the company received an order from the Municipal Corporation of Panvel. As part of this prestigious project, Aurionpro has been named the Panvel Safe City initiative’s Technology Partner. This major project will install modern surveillance and smart city technology, changing the city’s safety and security infrastructure. The contract is for five years and is valued at over Rs 200 crores.
The project’s scope includes the development of Data Centers, a cutting-edge Control Command Center and Video Analytics capabilities to allow for real-time monitoring and quicker response times. Furthermore, modern AI-powered technologies will be integrated, offering an effective structure for preventing crime with a particular focus on improving security measures for women. These technologies include Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), an IP-based Public Announcement system, Facial Recognition systems and an e-Challan mechanism.
In the exchange filing, the company also shared, “The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC), which governs 29 revenue villages and key CIDCO colonies, now oversees an expanded jurisdiction of 110 square kilometers following the transfer of civic infrastructure by CIDCO. In a significant move to enhance public safety, PMC has initiated the “Safe Panvel Project,” aimed at modernizing the city’s security infrastructure.”
