Aurionpro Solutions Limited has secured a significant new order from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) for the implementation of advanced Automated Fare Collection (AFC) systems across the Bhopal and Indore Metro Rail projects. This development further strengthens Aurionpro’s position as a leading technology partner in India’s rapidly expanding smart mobility and urban transit ecosystem.

The project forms part of DMRC’s collaboration with Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) and is focused on deploying standardized AFC infrastructure to improve commuter convenience, operational efficiency, and seamless interoperability across upcoming metro networks in Madhya Pradesh. With metro rail projects gaining momentum in tier-2 cities, the initiative is expected to play a critical role in shaping the future of urban transportation in the state.

Under the multi-year contract, valued at approximately ₹150 crore, Aurionpro will undertake the supply, implementation, and long-term maintenance of open-loop EMV card-based and QR-code-based fare collection solutions for both the Bhopal Metro and the Indore Metro. The scope of work covers end-to-end system deployment, followed by comprehensive operations, maintenance, and support services over a five-year period.

Aurionpro’s AFC solutions are built on both open-loop and closed-loop EMV ticketing architectures, ensuring compliance with global payment standards while also aligning with India’s National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) norms. These systems enable passengers to use EMV contactless cards and QR-based digital tickets, offering faster transactions, reduced queues, and a more seamless travel experience across metro networks.

Backed by a fully integrated in-house design and manufacturing ecosystem, Aurionpro delivers high-quality, globally compliant AFC products that are designed and made in India. The company’s automated fare collection platforms are engineered to scale efficiently, supporting future network expansions and multi-modal transport integration.
