Ather Energy, India’s leading electric two-wheeler brand, has announced a major expansion plan to scale its retail footprint to 700 Experience Centres (ECs) across India by the end of FY26. This will nearly double its current presence of 351 ECs in India, enhancing accessibility for customers nationwide.
The growth comes amid strong demand for Ather’s family scooter, Rizta, which has crossed 1 lakh units in retail sales within a year of launch. Rizta now contributes nearly 60% of Ather’s total sales and has expanded the brand’s market share in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh.
To support this retail growth, Ather plans to triple its store count in northern India and strengthen its presence in eastern and western regions. The company also operates 3,578+ Ather Grid fast-charging stations—India’s largest two-wheeler charging network—and offers enhanced services through Gold Service Centres and 60-minute Express Care maintenance.
With two operational plants in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, and a new facility upcoming in Bidkin, Maharashtra, Ather’s total manufacturing capacity is set to reach 1.42 million units annually, positioning it as a key player in India’s EV landscape.
