Asian Energy Services Limited, a prominent integrated service provider catering to the energy and mining sectors, has announced a major milestone with the award of a ₹459 crore contract from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited. The project involves the establishment of a state-of-the-art Coal Handling Plant (CHP) in Odisha, marking the company’s largest-ever CHP order to date.
The contract, valued at approximately ₹459 crore (inclusive of GST and BOCW Cess), will be executed in partnership with its joint venture partner. The scope of work includes turnkey execution covering design, supply, erection, commissioning, trial run, testing, and operations & maintenance during the Defect Liability Period (DLP). The project is set to be completed over a period of seven years.
Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Kapil Garg, Managing Director of Asian Energy Services Limited, expressed that this prestigious contract reflects the strong trust clients place in the company’s technical expertise and execution excellence. He added that this landmark win strengthens Asian Energy’s leadership in the Coal Handling Plant segment and pushes its total order book beyond ₹2,000 crore (excluding Kuiper).
