Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Katsons Hotel and Developer Private Limited and Mr. Ved Parkash Kataria to lease and manage four premium hospitality properties across Goa, Manali, Shimla, and Dharamshala. The agreement covers a total of 138 rooms and is structured as a 12-year lease deal under the company’s flagship brand.
The Goa property, featuring 42 rooms, and the 48-room Dharamshala hotel are expected to become operational within 60 days of signing the final lease agreements. Meanwhile, the 24-room hotels in Manali and Shimla are slated to open within 90 days.
This strategic move marks Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels’ continued focus on expanding into India’s high-growth leisure travel destinations. The addition of a hotel in Goa will further solidify the brand’s presence in one of India’s top beach tourism hubs. Meanwhile, the new properties in Himachal Pradesh—Shimla, Manali, and Dharamshala—align with the company’s long-term plan to tap into the booming demand for premium stays in popular hill stations.
With this development, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels is poised to strengthen its position in India’s vibrant hospitality landscape, especially in tier-1 and tier-2 tourist locations.
