Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has released its provisional operational update for H1 FY25, showcasing significant growth in both capacity and energy sales.
Operational Capacity: AGEL’s operational capacity increased by 34% year-on-year (YoY) to 11,184 MW, driven by the greenfield addition of 2,418 MW of solar power plants and 450 MW of wind power plants.
Energy Sales: The company reported a 20% YoY growth in energy sales, reaching 14,128 million units in H1 FY25, backed by robust capacity additions.
Portfolio Highlights:
- Solar portfolio achieved a capacity utilization factor (CUF) of 23.9%, supported by 99.4% plant availability.
- Wind portfolio reported a CUF of 35.7%, with 95% plant availability.
- The Hybrid portfolio demonstrated a strong CUF of 42.9%, with 99.6% plant availability.
Notable Developments:
- AGEL received a Letter of Award (LOA) from MSEDCL to supply 5 GW of solar power for a 25-year period.
- The company also completed the formation of a joint venture with TotalEnergies for a 1,150 MW renewable energy portfolio, securing an investment of USD 444 million.
