Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has announced the commissioning of two significant renewable energy projects in Gujarat, reinforcing its commitment to India’s clean energy mission.
Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight Limited, a step-down subsidiary of AGEL, has successfully commissioned a 62.4 MW wind power component as part of its wind-solar hybrid project at Khavda, Gujarat. Additionally, Adani Green Energy Twenty Four A Limited, another step-down subsidiary, has completed a 112.5 MW solar power project in the same region.
With the commissioning of these projects, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has reached 11,608.9 MW. The projects were cleared for operation at 7:37 p.m. on December 28, 2024, with power generation commencing from December 29, 2024.
This milestone underlines AGEL’s dedication to expanding its renewable energy portfolio and bolstering India’s transition to sustainable energy solutions.
