
Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) shared its provisional operational highlights for the quarter ending December 31, 2024. The company continues to achieve key milestones in transmission and distribution, as well as smart metering projects.
Key Performance Metrics:
- Transmission Network:
- Added 225 circuit kilometers (ckm) during the quarter, expanding the network to a total of 26,485 ckm, reflecting a robust execution strategy.
- Power transformation capacity increased to 84,286 MVA, up from 54,661 MVA YoY.
- Distribution Business (AEML & MUL):
- AEML maintained supply reliability at 99.9%, with total units sold increasing by 3% YoY to 2,574 million units.
- MUL achieved a significant 30% YoY growth in units sold, totaling 236 million units.
- Distribution loss for AEML improved to 4.66%, well below regulatory norms.
- Smart Metering Projects:
- Pipeline expanded to 22.8 million smart meters across nine contracts, with a total untapped market opportunity of 101 million meters.
- Renewable Energy Integration:
- The share of renewable power supplied to the Mumbai circle reached 36%, on track to achieve 60% by FY27.
Recent Business Wins:
- Secured two major projects:
- Khavda Phase IV Part-D, valued at Rs 3,455 crore.
- Rajasthan Phase III Part-I, valued at ~Rs 25,000 crore, marking AESL’s largest project win to date.
- Under-construction project pipeline surged to Rs 54,700 crore from Rs 17,000 crore at the start of FY25.

- Joined UNEZA, a global alliance for clean energy infrastructure development.
- Honored with multiple accolades, including the Arogya World Healthy Workplace Certificate and recognition for excellence in occupational health and safety.
