Birlasoft has announced the appointment of Vikram Puranik as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective from April 1, 2026. Based in Pune, India, Puranik brings over 25 years of experience in technology leadership to the role.
Puranik is recognised for his expertise in building and scaling AI-first engineering organisations, with a focus on delivering end-to-end excellence and unlocking new revenue streams. His previous role was as Chief of Engineering Delivery and Operations at GlobalLogic, where he led digital engineering transformations for Fortune 500 companies.
In his new position at Birlasoft, Puranik will concentrate on enhancing the company’s global delivery and innovation strategies, aiming for operational excellence and productivity improvements. He will collaborate with leadership teams to drive the adoption of emerging technologies, facilitating transformative outcomes for clients.
