Bharti Airtel has recently informed the exchanges that it has partnered with Apple to bring exclusive offers of Apple TV+ and Apple Music to customers in India.
In the filing, the company shared, “Large screen video content viewership is growing at a fast pace in India, and there is a large appetite for high quality video content among Indian users.”
The statement further reads, Apple TV+ provides premium, fascinating drama and comedy series, feature films, documentaries and children’s and family entertainment that can be watched on all of your favourite screens. Apple TV+ has aired more original hits and gotten more award nominations than any other streaming service since it first launched. Airtel Xstream fibre already includes a vast range of TV programs, movies, and web series with its WiFi services and the addition of Apple TV+ will only further improve this content offering. Apple TV+ will be included with premium Airtel WiFi and postpaid plans.
Additionally, Airtel will provide its Wynk Premium members in India with exclusive offers of Apple Music, resulting in an incredible music-listening experience.
These Apple Music and Apple TV+ offers will be available only to Airtel users in India later this year.
In the meantime, as of 12:18 pm, Bharti Airtel shares were trading 0.56% higher at Rs 1,522.00 on the NSE.
