Alkem Laboratories has announced plans to invest up to ₹533 crore in a new greenfield formulations manufacturing facility in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The investment will be made in a phased manner, as per an allotment letter received from DMIC Vikram Udyogpuri Limited on 18th March 2026.
The company has secured approximately 30 acres of land in the Industrial Area of DMIC Vikram Udyogpuri Limited, Phase-2, Ujjain, for the development of this facility. This strategic move is aimed at expanding Alkem Laboratories‘ manufacturing capabilities and enhancing its production capacity.
The Board of Directors of Alkem Laboratories has given its approval for the investment, underscoring the company’s commitment to strengthening its infrastructure and supporting its growth objectives.
