Adani Green Energy Limited has announced the commercial operationalisation of significant renewable energy and battery energy storage projects, enhancing its capacity in these sectors. The company, through its various stepdown subsidiaries, has operationalised an aggregate of 360.5 MW renewable energy projects located in Bandha, Rajasthan (137.5 MW), and Khavda, Gujarat (223 MW). Additionally, Adani Green has also operationalised an aggregate 1,376 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects at Khavda, Gujarat.
With the commissioning of these projects, Adani Green has achieved a total operational renewable generation capacity of 19,293.8 MW. The total operational BESS capacity now stands at 1,376 MWh. These milestones mark a significant step in Adani Green’s commitment to expanding its renewable energy footprint and enhancing its energy storage capabilities.
The decision to commercially operationalise these plants was made at 10.43 p.m. on March 31, 2026, with power generation commencing from April 01, 2026. The projects are part of Adani Green’s strategic initiatives to bolster its renewable energy portfolio and support India’s transition towards sustainable energy solutions.
