HYDERABAD – This Saturday, the Yoga Mahotsav 2026 transformed Kanha Shanti Vanam into a global wellness hub, marking the official 50-day countdown to the 12th International Day of Yoga. The event featured a spectacular record-breaking attempt where over 6,000 people performed Bhujangasana in unison, officially entering the Asia Book of Records. Representing the creative community of Kolkata was Satyajit Majumder,  Cultural Ambassador of India and full time content creator known as @thetwoinoneguy.

Following a special invitation from the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, Majumder was among those practicing the Common Yoga Protocol alongside Union Ministers Shri G. Kishan Reddy and Shri Prataprao Jadhav. His presence, underscored the integration of traditional wellness into the lives of modern leaders and creators. This participation aligns with the government’s vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047, where health and discipline are foundational.

The Mahotsav included a diverse program with Natyayoga and an international yoga presentation by a Korean team, attended by dignitaries from over 20 countries. Minister Shri Prataprao Jadhav also highlighted the Yoga 365 initiative, encouraging a daily commitment to yoga. With the next 25-day countdown event scheduled for Khajuraho, the Mahotsav reaffirmed Yoga as India’s sustainable solution for today’s stress and lifestyle modern challenges.
