KNR Constructions Limited has announced the receipt of a total of ₹130.10 crore as per the settlement agreements with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The company received this amount on 21st April 2026, which includes a principal claim of ₹91.79 crore and an interest component of ₹38.31 crore.
The settlement was facilitated through agreements signed on 30th March 2026 between KNR Constructions and NHAI. The disputes were addressed by the Conciliation Committee of Independent Experts (CCIE), which played a pivotal role in reaching this resolution.
The financial implications of this settlement are linked to two specific projects. The first is the Madurai – Ramanathapuram section of NH 83, where KNR Constructions has received ₹72.20 crore as the principal amount and ₹35 crore as interest. The second project is the Pollachi – Coimbatore section of NH 83, with a principal amount of ₹19.59 crore and an interest of ₹3.31 crore.
This financial settlement is expected to bolster KNR Constructions’ financial position, providing a significant cash inflow that can be utilised for future projects or operational needs.
