State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the promotion of eight officials to the position of Deputy Managing Directors, effective from 21 April 2026. This move is part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its senior management team.
The officials who have been elevated to the role of Deputy Managing Directors are Amit Verma, Debasish Mishra, Dipak Kumar De, Niraj Kumar Panda, Ratna Teja Dinakara Akella, Sahadevan Radhakrishnan, Sukhvinder Kaur Ganesh, and Varinder Khanna. The promotions are in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as well as clause 7 of Para A Part A of Schedule III.
The announcement was made in a regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). This strategic move is expected to enhance the operational efficiency and leadership capabilities within the bank.
