Shares of Great Eastern Shipping Company rose more than 3% in early trade after the company delivered a robust set of Q3 FY26 numbers, beating expectations on revenue growth, profitability, and margins.

For the quarter ended December, GE Shipping reported consolidated revenue of ₹1,454 crore, marking a 17.6% year-on-year increase compared with ₹1,237 crore in the same period last year.

Operating performance saw an even sharper improvement. EBITDA surged 36.8% year-on-year to ₹836 crore, up from ₹611 crore in Q3 FY25. As a result, EBITDA margin expanded significantly to 57.5% from 49.4% a year ago.

Net profit for the quarter rose 36.9% to ₹813 crore, compared with ₹594 crore in the corresponding period last year, underlining the company’s strong earnings momentum and balance sheet strength.

Alongside the results, GE Shipping announced an interim dividend of ₹9 per share.
