Friday, November 7: Textile major Arvind Ltd has reported a strong turnaround in its second quarter (Q2 FY26) performance, posting a significant 95% year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit to Rs 106.74 crore, compared to Rs 54.70 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue from operations for the quarter rose 8.4% YoY to Rs 2,371.14 crore, against Rs 2,188.31 crore in Q2 FY25, supported by growth in both textile and advanced materials segments. Total income stood at Rs 2,386.02 crore for the quarter.

On the operational front, EBIT before exceptional items rose sharply to Rs 148.65 crore from Rs 134.75 crore a year earlier. Total expenses increased to Rs 2,237.22 crore from Rs 2,065.57 crore, driven by higher raw material costs and employee expenses.

For the half year ended September 2025, the company recorded a profit of Rs 161.44 crore compared to Rs 106.50 crore in the previous year, while revenue increased to Rs 4,377.46 crore, up from Rs 4,018.91 crore in H1 FY25.

Arvind’s Q2 results mark a notable recovery from last year’s pressure on margins and earnings, supported by efficient cost control and steady demand across key textile categories.
