Affordable Robotic and Automation Limited (ARAPL), India’s first listed robotics company, announced that its subsidiary ARAPL RaaS (Humro) has received another major order from a leading US-based logistics and warehouse management company for the supply of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).

Order details and significance

The new order includes six mobile robots on a two-year lease valued at Rs 4.13 crore, following successful prototype trials conducted over the past three months. The deal marks Humro’s expansion into a new product category and is expected to strengthen its foothold in the North American logistics automation market.

The order opens the possibility for a larger deployment in the client’s two US warehouses, where Humro could potentially install up to 50 mobile robots at each facility over the next two years.

Management commentary

Milind Padolee, Founder & Managing Director of ARAPL, said:

“This order, following stringent trials and approvals, validates our technology and strengthens our ambition of positioning Make in India mobile robots on the global stage. It reinforces our goal to scale next-generation automation platforms across international markets.”

About the product and technology

Humro’s autonomous robots feature LiDAR-based navigation, real-time obstacle detection, and precision control algorithms, enabling safe, 24×7 warehouse operations. These systems integrate seamlessly with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms, enhancing efficiency while cutting operational costs.

To accelerate Humro’s global growth, ARAPL has announced a proposed investment of USD 8–10 million, including a personal infusion of USD 3 million by Mr. Padolee as an interest-free loan with an option to convert to equity.
