Berger Paints Ltd reported its financial results for the second quarter of FY25, showing a mixed performance. While revenue saw a slight uptick, profitability and margins were hit due to higher input costs and competitive pricing pressure.

The company’s net profit fell 23% year-on-year to ₹206 crore, compared to ₹269 crore in the same quarter last year.

Revenue rose 2% YoY to ₹2,827 crore, against ₹2,774 crore in Q2 FY24, reflecting modest growth in demand.

However, EBITDA dropped 18% YoY to ₹352 crore from ₹430 crore, while the EBITDA margin contracted sharply to 12.46% from 15.65% a year earlier, highlighting cost pressures and a less favorable product mix.
