The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), India’s leading commodity derivatives exchange, continues to face a major technical outage on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. As of 10:30 AM, the MCX website and trading platform remain non-functional, leaving traders and investors waiting for clarity on when normal operations will resume.
Earlier in the morning, MCX had announced that trading would resume at 9:30 AM, later revising the timing to 10:30 AM through its Disaster Recovery (DR) site. However, the exchange has now confirmed another delay.
According to the latest official alert issued at 10:20 AM, “The commencement of trading is delayed due to a technical issue. Trading will start from the DR site. The time of commencement of trading will be informed to market participants. Inconvenience is regretted.”
As of 10:35 AM, trading on MCX has yet to begin, and the exchange has not released any new update regarding when market operations will resume.
