Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, has received a significant order valued at Rs. 633 Crore (excluding taxes) from Cochin Shipyard Limited.
The order involves the supply of a range of critical defence equipment, including sensors, weapon systems, fire control systems, and communication equipment. These products are expected to enhance the operational capabilities of the defence platforms for which they are being supplied.
In the exchange filings, the company shared, “Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has received order valued at Rs. 633 Crore (excluding taxes) from Cochin Shipyard Limited. The order is for supply of items required for various sensors, weapon equipment, fire control system and communication equipment supplied by BEL.”
This order highlights BEL’s continued role as a key supplier of advanced defence technologies in India and its contribution to the nation’s defence preparedness.
