United Breweries Limited (UBL), part of the Heineken group, has announced the relaunch of Kalyani Black Label Strong beer in West Bengal with effect from September 23, 2025 .

The iconic brand, named after UBL’s first brewery located on the banks of the river Kalyani, has been part of Bengal’s drinking culture for generations. Known for its bold strong taste, Kalyani Black Label has long been considered the first beer experience for many in Eastern India.

With this relaunch, UBL is offering the beer at a highly competitive price point of ₹140 per 650ml bottle. The company said the move aims to reconnect with loyal consumers while also appealing to a new generation of beer drinkers.

The product will be available across leading outlets in West Bengal in 650ml bottles.
