AbhiBus, the bus ticketing arm of Ixigo, has taken a major step forward in strengthening its presence in India’s online bus booking market. The platform has integrated services from seven new State Road Transport Corporations (SRTCs), further expanding its nationwide coverage of government-run bus services.
The newly onboarded SRTCs include ASTC (Assam State Transport Corporation), SBSTC (South Bengal State Transport Corporation), TSRTC (Telangana State Road Transport Corporation), PRTC (Punjab/PEPSU Road Transport Corporation), KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation), SNT (Sikkim Nationalised Transport), and UTC (Uttarakhand Transport Corporation). With this expansion, AbhiBus users, along with those booking via Ixigo and ConfirmTkt, can seamlessly access inter-city and inter-state bus routes across almost every major region of India.
This move not only simplifies online booking of state-run buses but also enhances reliability and convenience for passengers by bringing more government bus services onto a single digital platform.
With the latest additions, AbhiBus now aggregates 17 major SRTCs across the country. These include GSRTC (Gujarat), BSRTC (Bihar), RSRTC (Rajasthan), HRTC (Himachal Pradesh), UPSRTC (Uttar Pradesh), JKSRTC (Jammu & Kashmir), APSRTC (Andhra Pradesh), KTCL (Goa), WBTC (West Bengal), along with the newly added seven state corporations.
