Bajaj Auto Limited reported total sales of 4,17,616 units in August 2025, compared with 3,97,804 units in August 2024, marking a 5% year-on-year growth.
In the two-wheeler segment, total sales stood at 3,41,887 units, slightly higher than 3,35,178 units in the same month last year. Domestic sales dropped 12% to 1,84,109 units, while exports increased 25% to 1,57,778 units.
The commercial vehicle segment recorded sales of 75,729 units, up 21% from 62,626 units in August 2024. Within this, domestic sales rose 7% to 48,289 units, and exports grew 58% to 27,440 units.
On a consolidated basis, Bajaj Auto’s domestic sales in August 2025 were 2,32,398 units, down 8% from 2,53,827 units in the previous year. Exports rose 29% to 1,85,218 units, compared with 1,43,977 units a year ago.
For the April–August 2025 period, the company sold a total of 18,94,853 units, a 2% increase over 18,54,029 units in the same period last year.
Two-wheeler sales for the five months stood at 15,86,925 units, almost flat compared to 15,83,636 units in the corresponding period of 2024. Domestic sales fell 11% to 8,52,732 units, while exports rose 18% to 7,34,193 units.
Commercial vehicle sales between April and August 2025 reached 3,07,928 units, up 14% from 2,70,393 units last year. Domestic sales were nearly unchanged at 1,97,617 units, while exports advanced 47% to 1,10,311 units.
Overall, domestic volumes in the April–August 2025 period declined 9% to 10,50,349 units, but exports increased 21% to 8,44,504 units.
