Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd. has announced a significant development through its subsidiary, Chhattisgarh Hydro Power LLP. The company has successfully commenced commercial operations of the Rehar-1 Small Hydro Power Project (3×8.3 MW) in Chhattisgarh as of July 8, 2025.
Additionally, the project has received in-principle approval from the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd. for long-term power procurement. This marks a key milestone in Sarda Energy’s ongoing push toward clean and sustainable energy generation.
This move not only strengthens the company’s renewable energy portfolio but also aligns with India’s broader goals of green energy expansion.
