Kalyan Jewellers has kicked off FY2026 on a strong note, reporting a consolidated revenue growth of approximately 31% for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, as compared to the same period last year. This growth comes despite headwinds such as demand pauses triggered by volatile gold prices and ongoing geopolitical tensions.
India operations remained the primary growth driver for the company, clocking a 31% year-on-year revenue increase. The strong performance was fuelled by robust demand during the Akshaya Tritiya season and the wedding segment, which also translated into a healthy same-store sales growth of 18% for the quarter.
The company’s international business also mirrored similar momentum, reporting a 31% year-on-year growth. The Middle East markets saw a 26% rise in revenue, largely led by improved same-store performance. International markets collectively contributed 15% to the company’s overall revenue during the quarter.
Kalyan’s digital-first brand, Candere, posted an impressive 67% growth in revenue compared to the same period last year. The performance received a significant boost after the brand launched its latest campaign in the second half of May 2025. The brand noted a noticeable spike in showroom footfalls, web traffic, and overall sales after the campaign rollout.
In terms of physical expansion, the company continued its aggressive retail strategy by launching 10 new Kalyan Jewellers showrooms in India, one in the United States, and eight Candere showrooms across India during the quarter.
Looking ahead, Kalyan Jewellers is optimistic about the remainder of FY26. The company has laid out an ambitious plan to open 170 new showrooms across its Kalyan and Candere formats. This includes 75 Kalyan showrooms in non-south India (including five flagship-format stores), 15 in south India and overseas, and 80 new Candere showrooms.
As of June 30, 2025, the company’s total store count stood at 406 – with 287 showrooms in India under the Kalyan brand, 36 in the Middle East, 2 in the US, and 81 under Candere in India.
