Sun TV Network has issued a clarification regarding recent media reports involving a personal matter related to its Promoter and a family member. The company stated that the alleged incident dates back over 22 years, from a time when Sun TV was a privately held entity.
In its statement, Sun TV emphasized that the claims made in these reports are “incorrect, misleading, speculative, and defamatory.” The company further clarified that all actions during the period in question were carried out in full compliance with applicable legal obligations and were reviewed by the relevant authorities prior to its public listing.
Sun TV assured that the matter has no impact on its operations or business performance. “These are personal and family-related issues of the Promoter and have no connection with the company’s day-to-day functioning,” it said.
