Power Mech Projects Limited has announced the receipt of a significant order valued at ₹971.98 crores (excluding GST) from Telangana Power Generation Corporation Limited (TGGENCO). The contract involves the comprehensive development of an integrated township at the Yadadri Thermal Power Station, located in Veerlapalem village, Dameracherla mandal, Nalgonda district, Telangana.

This township project will support the upcoming thermal power infrastructure and includes a wide range of construction and engineering activities. It encompasses soil investigation, engineering design, and the full-scale construction of both independent and multistoried residential quarters. Specifically, the residential component consists of A and B type independent quarters, along with D, E, and F type multistoried buildings comprising stilt plus ten floors.

Beyond residential buildings, the scope includes the development of essential public and community infrastructure. The township will feature a hospital, school, clubhouse, commercial complexes, an indoor stadium, a multipurpose function hall, a sports complex, and security and maintenance facilities. Supporting infrastructure work involves site leveling and grading, roads and drainage systems, the construction of underground potable water tanks, overhead storage reservoirs (OHSRs), septic tanks, and a sewage treatment plant (STP).

Additional environmental and utility provisions such as avenue plantation, rainwater harvesting pits, and street lighting are also part of the contract. The development includes a bituminous approach road to the township and a bridge over the Tungapadu vagu. Key utility infrastructure such as a substation and internal compound walls will also be developed. The total timeline for execution is 30 months from the date of site handover.
