Choice Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. (CCSPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Choice International Limited, has secured a significant mandate from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL) for the development of a 45 MW (AC) solar power project. This project falls under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (MSKVY 2.0), part of Component C of the PM-KUSUM scheme, aimed at enabling feeder-level solarisation across Maharashtra.

As the strategic consulting partner, Choice will provide end-to-end advisory services for project structuring, compliance, and supervision across 18 substations in the state. Additionally, the firm will oversee the installation of 11kV or 22kV lines and manage testing and commissioning processes. The solar plant will operate under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), enabling decentralized power supply to agricultural feeders.

Arun Poddar, CEO of Choice International Ltd., commented, “This project underscores our unwavering commitment to renewable energy and sustainable development. We are proud to contribute to Maharashtra’s clean energy goals and support India’s transition to a greener future.”

The project is expected to generate revenue of approximately ₹700 crore and contribute to long-term value creation in rural Maharashtra while reinforcing CCSPL’s leadership in green energy consulting.
