Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) announced its operational performance for November 2024, showcasing significant growth across key metrics. The company handled 36 million metric tonnes (MMT) of total cargo during the month, marking a robust 21% year-on-year (YoY) increase, driven primarily by container volumes.
For the year-to-date (YTD) period until November, APSEZ managed 293.7 MMT of total cargo, reflecting a 7% YoY growth. This expansion was supported by a 19% YoY rise in container volumes, alongside growth in liquid and gas categories at 7%.
In the logistics segment, rail volumes grew 10% YoY, reaching 0.42 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs). Additionally, GPWIS (General Purpose Wagon Investment Scheme) volumes increased by 15% YoY to 14.2 MMT.
