After Salman Khan, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is now under alleged death threat, received from Chhattisgarh. Reports have suggested that Bandra police received the threatening call, which demanded Rs. 50 lakhs. They have got a case registered, and as for SRK they have beefed-up his security.
The caller has been identified as Faizan Khan, and is allegedly demanding a ransom of Rs. 50 lakh. Police located his location using an active phone number. As per India Today, the threatening call to SRK came from the phone of Faizan. But when questioned, Faizan said that his mobile phone was snatched from him on November 2.
When he was asked to give his name and place of origin, he asked the police to refer to him as ‘Hindustani’. The call was received on November 5 around 1:20pm.
After the threat, Mumbai police have increased the actor’s security. His residence, Mannat, has been closed for public. All his recent upcoming public appearances have been suspended citing security reasons.
