JSW MG Motor is getting ready to introduce the Gloster SUV in India with its first major facelift. The three-row SUV was recently spotted, providing a preview of what it could have in store for its next version from the British automaker, which has partnered with JSW Group in the nation.
The Gloster SUV, the biggest SUV in the automaker’s lineup, made its debut in India back in 2020. The Gloster was the first SUV in its class to have ADAS technology and it was designed to compete with vehicles like the Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner.
Around the upcoming festive season, MG Motor is anticipated to introduce the Gloster facelift SUV. This and the Toyota Fortuner will resume their rivalry. It will probably face competition from the new Nissan X-Trail SUV, which is expected to be on sale by the end of this year.
At least four test vehicles of the Gloster facelift SUV are seen in the spy photo testing on the Belgaum-Dharwad route in Karnataka. Although all four SUVs were highly hidden, several important elements regarding the design changes are revealed.
According to spy photos, the forthcoming Gloster SUV will have smaller DRLS and new LED headlights that are more sleek than the current models. These changes are anticipated to be influenced by the Hector SUV. Additionally, the front bumper and grille will be modified.
The SUV’s side appearance looks to stay unchanged, at least under cover. The new Gloster’s rear end will most likely have new taillights and a modified bumper
