U.S.A. Department of Health Officials has announced that the COVID-19 vaccine, when produced, will be available to all citizens free of charge.
The United States Government has allegedly invested $10 billion in the development of the COVID-19 vaccine. The front runner amongst these is ‘ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 (AZD1222)’, which is being developed by the Oxford University and AstraZeneca.
Reports suggest that the vaccine for medical professionals that are on the ground and administering the medication will be funded by private and public insurance companies and the rest will be funded by the United States Government.
This has come after the news about the approval of a vaccine in Russia but the U.S. state health department has said they have some concerns about said vaccine.
