TVS Motor Company has teamed up with Zomato to enhance their last-mile delivery services by incorporating electric scooters into their operations. In an event held in Hyderabad, 50 TVS iQube electric scooters were provided to Zomato’s delivery partners through the fleet operator Chartered Bikes x BLive. This partnership is part of TVS Motor’s plan to deploy more than 10,000 TVS electric scooters over the next two years.
Manu Saxena, Senior Vice President of Electric Vehicles at TVS Motor Company, expressed their commitment to expanding their electric vehicle offerings across various segments. They believe that last-mile delivery services play a crucial role in accelerating the adoption of EVs.
Rinshul Chandra, Chief Operations Officer of Zomato, highlighted their ambition to achieve 100 percent EV adoption by 2030 and their participation in the EV100 campaign by Climate Group.
