Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd., a leader in smart metering solutions, announced its audited financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026, showcasing significant growth across various financial metrics.
For the fourth quarter of FY26, Genus Power reported a revenue of ₹1,523.7 crore, marking a substantial 62.7% year-on-year increase compared to ₹936.8 crore in Q4FY25. This growth was driven by strong execution momentum in the smart metering business and accelerated project implementation across key state utilities. Quarter-on-quarter, revenue rose by 35.8%, reflecting improved execution intensity.
The company’s EBITDA for Q4FY26 stood at ₹284.0 crore, up 36.2% from ₹208.5 crore in the same quarter last year, with an EBITDA margin of 18.6%. Profit After Tax (PAT) from continuing operations reached ₹180.7 crore, a healthy 41% increase from ₹128.0 crore in Q4FY25, despite a moderation in gross profit margins due to changes in product mix and exchange rate fluctuations.
For the full fiscal year FY26, Genus Power’s revenue soared to ₹4,737.5 crore, representing a robust 94.0% year-on-year growth from ₹2,442.0 crore in FY25. The EBITDA for the year was ₹960.2 crore, up 104.3% from the previous year’s ₹469.9 crore, with an improved EBITDA margin of 20.3%. The PAT for FY26 was ₹605.0 crore, a sharp 106.5% increase from ₹293.0 crore in FY25.
As of March 31, 2026, Genus Power’s total order book stands at approximately ₹25,173 crore, providing strong revenue visibility for the coming years. The company also announced a key update regarding the demerger of its Strategic Investment Business into Genus Prime Infra Limited, approved by the NCLT, Allahabad Bench, with equity shares allotted to eligible shareholders.
Jitendra Kumar Agarwal, Joint Managing Director of Genus Power Infrastructures, highlighted the company’s landmark performance in FY26, driven by strong execution capabilities and sustained momentum in India’s smart metering transformation. The company crossed the milestone of installing over 1 crore smart meters under the RDSS programs and maintained strong manufacturing throughput.
Looking ahead, Genus Power anticipates significant scale-up in project execution for FY27, targeting revenue of approximately ₹6,000 – 6,500 crore. The company plans to leverage its manufacturing capabilities and integrated technology offerings to maintain healthy profitability metrics and consolidate its leadership position in India’s smart metering and digital power infrastructure ecosystem.
