Ukrainian President Zelenskyy showed absolute integrity and refused to flee from the country to safeguard himself. He stayed back, wore the military gear and faced the war like a real soldier.
At one point in 2015 he has enacted as a President of Ukraine ( TV series, Servant of the people, 2015), and today he is the real President of Ukraine and is standing shoulder to shoulder with fellow comrades.
Ukrainians took to Twitter and updated war happenings by the hour. Whoever was alive to report, did their bit, who was martyred gave the sacrifice for fellow Ukrainians.
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy’s famous quote just before Russia strikes was that when the Russians would come to take over, they wouldn’t see Ukrainians’ backs, But would see their faces.
We saw memes of strength and Ukrainians took humor to shield their anxiety and pump up their energy while facing a real war. Whereas rest of the world was seen enjoying these memes from the comforts of their homes, as this crisis may never even come close to them. One never knows how tables turn.

Lets look at some powerful memes that Ukrainians shielded their fear and anxiety with and showed their brave front.
Many young women and men joined the reserve army. These were civilians but when duty called and help seemed delayed, they took up artillery and joined the forces.
President Zelenskyy and his people pray and fight for their freedom and it is their basic right to live and their choice whom they join. They want to leave their Russian oppression behind. And Putin has shocked the world by violating international rule of law, of peace and stability.
Harsh is the reality however humor can reduce half the pain, psychologists have noted. And Zelenskyy and his people are now absolutely fearless and are determined to be on their stand. Everyone has joined in unity and if this is their brave front then there is no stopping them from success. Even if they lose they will be regarded as brave soldiers who never bent or gave in.
