Held a telephonic conversation with his Chinese counterpart over the situations along the border. The issue in Kashmir and Afghanistan. The Pakistani minister, during the phone call, emphasized on “deteriorating” regional security situation. He further said that “India’s belligerent posture was imperiling the peace in the region”, reported The Hindu. Therefore, Pakistan and China discuss over political matters of Kashmir.

Pakistan And China Resort To Diplomacy

In his statement during a press briefing, Qureshi further added that Pakistan and China are “all-weather strategic cooperative partners”. He also urged that the disputes along the borders should be resolved. However via peaceful means and agreed mechanisms rather than resorting to “unilateral, illegal and coercive measures”. 

“Both China and Pakistan must work together to meet the risks and challenges. And safeguard the common interests of the two countries and regional peace and stability”. Aaid the Chinese Foreign Minister. After expressing solidarity, he further appreciated Pakistan. For “firmly supporting Hong Kong’s national security legislation. And opposing the use of Hong Kong-related issues to interfere with China’s internal affairs’’. 

Both the parties talked on an ample amount of affairs. Which were including the border disputes, defense, economic cooperation. Which also included the China Pakistan Economic Corridor, etc. This telephonic conversation. Also marks the inception of a joint front that Pakistan and China might form and present against India. 

Both nations have extended utmost solidarity towards each other. They are committed to support each other in circumstances.
