Massive fire outbreak in Bangladesh factory, many workers still missing

A massive fire outbreak took place in a Bangladesh food processing factory. 40 people were killed after the fire broke out in a 6th floor or factory outside Dhaka which is Bangladesh’s capital.

The fire broke out at the Narayanganj Rupganj factory last night emergency workers have recovered 40 bodies and 30 injured people from the accident.

The fire broke out on Thursday at approximately around 5 p.m. at the season juice factory according to the fire officials. According to the fire officials, it is suspected that the fire was originated from the ground floor of the factory and it spread quickly due to the chemical presence and plastic bottles. Several workers had jump off the building trying to escape in this devastating fire accident 18 fire fighting units were struggling to use the fire in the building.

Many people had gathered in front of the building looking for the loved ones who are still missing 44 workers have been missing yet confirmed, by the local newspaper.

The fire officials also claimed that there were no proper fire safety measures in the building during the accident which caused it to be out of control. In the district administration of 5 member committee has been formed to look into this incident.
