Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga told the United Nations General Assembly that Japan is determined to hold the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. The games were postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The games were originally scheduled for summer 2020 but were postponed to March 2021 by the International Olympic Committee and the Japanese Government.
