Indian Embassy in Kyiv released a statement to its nationals and students to consider leaving Ukraine temporarily.
The Embassy urged all the Indian nationals and students to constantly update them about their whereabouts.
This dictate follows the possible Russian intrusion of Ukraine anytime this week/month.
The statement mentioned, ” Indian nationals are requested to keep the Embassy informed about the status of their presence in Ukraine to enable the Embassy to reach them where required.”

Amidst the crisis brewing up, many countries have asked their diplomatic staff to leave Ukraine including their respective citizens. These countries are the US, Britain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, Ireland, Estonia, Canada, Netherlands, Norway, Lithuania, Slovenia, Australia, Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
Russia brushes off reports of the imminent Ukraine attack despite satellite images showing a massive gathering of troops near the border. Russia controls the Crimean territory annexed in 2014 and extends its backing to separatist groups controlling the East Donbas region.
In the past 48 hours, Moscow has spiked up its military personnel in Western Russia, Belarus and Crimea.
The latest satellite images also show the weapons of war which include more than 100,000 troops, offensive helicopters including fighter bomb jets in the region.
