Thunderbolts has been one of the biggest hits of the year, earning praise from both fans and critics. The Marvel film performed exceptionally well at the box office, grossing USD 382 million worldwide, and is now set to hit digital screens by the end of this month. The studio shared the news on social media, posting a new clip featuring Florence Pugh, Wyatt Russell, Sebastian Stan, and David Harbour.
Fans can stream Thunderbolts on JioHotstar starting August 27, allowing them to enjoy the film from the comfort of their homes. The movie follows a group of anti-heroes from previous Marvel films, including Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Black Widow, who are forced to team up to face a new threat.
The official plot synopsis reads: “Ensnared in a death trap, an unconventional team of antiheroes—Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, and John Walker—embarks on a dangerous mission that forces them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts.”
Julia Louis-Dreyfus also stars in the film as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. The cast is expected to reprise their roles in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, which will feature the original Avengers, X-Men, and the Fantastic Four.
Following Thunderbolts, Marvel’s summer releases included The Fantastic Four: First Steps starring Pedro Pascal and the series Ironheart.
Thunderbolts will be available for streaming on JioHotstar from August 27.
