
Ratan Tata, the chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, passed away on Wednesday after he was admitted to hospital in a critical condition and was receiving treatment in the intensive care unit of a Mumbai hospital.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his official X handle, formerly known as Twitter, to mourn the loss of the “visionary business leader.” Having leaded the Tata group of companies, PM Modi wrote, “He provided stable leadership to one of India’s oldest and most prestigious business houses.”
