While the whole country celebrates Raksha Bandhan with their loved ones today, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh did not lose out on the love during this festival. Saroj, a nurse working at the hospital where Shivraj Singh Chouhan is fighting the novel Coronavirus, tied rakhi to the minister on the ocassion of Raksha Bandhan.
ANI posted pictures of both of them commemorating the auspicious occasion where sisters tie intricate and ornate threads on the wrists of their brothers, asking them to protect their sisters from the evil, where valuing love and belongingness amongst them.
This gesture by the minister does not only fill the void in the heart of the nurse, who presumably, cannot go home on the occasion but also serves as a mark of respect for the resilience and courage of the heath care staff across the world.
