The first Jawan reviews have arrived, and the audience has just one word to describe the film: blockbuster.

The King has returned, and what a return it is! After months of hype and expectation, Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster film Jawan was released in theatres on Thursday, and it is bigger than a festival for his admirers. Because of the advance booking window, shows until Sunday have already been fully booked, and to match the demand, shows as early as 5 a.m. have been scheduled for the film.

Fans of SRK were spotted flocking into theatres not only in Mumbai, but also in other major cities such as Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Chennai, to catch the film as soon as possible.

The first Jawan reviews have arrived, and the audience has just one word to describe the film: blockbuster.

Social media platforms are flooded with the first reviews of Jawan, and by the looks of it, the film is even bigger and better than SRK’s Pathaan, which released earlier this year.

“This is what happens when the brilliance of South meets the stardom of North. Atlee and SRK have managed to pull off one of the best action movies this country has produced,” a user tweeted after watching the film.

Several other viewers, who finished watching the film, stated that Jawan has to be one of the SRK’s top 5 massy films.

Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi’s performance is also being loved by the masses.

Fans were seen queuing outside theatres in the early hours of Thursday to see Jawan premiere in the country. To fulfil the enormous demand of fans, Mumbai’s famed Gaiety Galaxy theatre planned a 6 a.m. show for the first time ever.

At 5 a.m., SRK fans gathered outside the theatre to create a gigantic dahi handi pyramid while waving “We love SRK” flags. They also broke firecrackers and danced to the sounds of dhol tasha outside the venue.

Huge cutouts have also been built across the country, with admirers in Chennai even bathing SRK’s poster in milk and showering it with flowers.
