Kyle Mayers and Nicholas Pooran were victims of an embarrassing run-out, but it was Rishabh Pant who underlined his funny behaviour and was eventually scolded by skipper Rohit.
Rishabh Pant was listening to the the batting duo’s passionate debate instead of hitting the bails for the run-out as the West Indies combo hung in the middle of the pitch, triggering a tremendously embarrassing run-out for the hosts.
It was Rohit Sharma who scolded Pant from the back to hit the wickets for satisfying the official confirmation of wicket but the young wicket-keeper seemed interested in the conversation between the West Indies batsman.
